Welcome to Porcelain Marks & More!
This privately run website offers a lot of useful information for free (no ads, no pop-ups, no cookies or re-directs, etc.) and paying the server bill is always quite an issue. YOU can help to keep this free and informative site up and running by donating whatever amount you see fit via PayPal. Simply visit the PayPal site by clicking on the button below (or navigating there yourself if you do not trust links). All donations should be made towards the PayPal account email@example.com ... thank you !
Certain entries (set in red text in the appropriate menus) can only be viewed by PM&M site members. The fee and registration procedure is explained on the ⇒NP Access page. Single questions from people with an item from a manufacturer listed there and only needing a hint will of course still be answered free of charge, but such a reply will only contain basic info (a simple date range, not the complete factory history and such).
Many people ask what to do if they do not know the region of Germany or the exact town where a specific manufacturer was located. Next to navigating via region and town you can also use either the PM&M Site Search or try using the Factory Index, both can be found in the Resources menu.
A number of manufacturers is not included on this site yet; either I did not have time to include them or there simply was not enough information for an own page. The list of manufacturers set aside for future release (the 'To-Do-List') can be seen ⇒here and of course you can contact me if you have a question regarding one of the manufacturers listed on that page.
Please hold in mind that the PM&M site has gone through a server transfer and been upgraded - it was nearly rewritten from scratch, hence everything (file names, locations, etc.) changed. Even though I tried my best to ensure that everything works fine, it may be that a few flaws evaded detection on my own test system (64bit Linux Mint 16 KDE, running XAMPP v1.8.3 with PHP 5.5). If you find something like a dead link or get stuck somewhere, please drop me an ⇒email so that I can fix it as soon as possible. As I only have restricted access to some mobile devices, the display/navigation on some devices may be problematic - please inform me if you notice something, preferably with an exact (!) description of what happens or (even better) a faux screen capture showing the flaw. Thanks!
