In that context I should mention that certain entries (all of them underlayed sort of red/pink in the oppropriate menus) can only be viewed by registered users. The fee and registration procedure is explained on the NPS Access page. Note that I will still answer eMails with single questions regarding the manufacturers listed there *for free*, after all a visitor with just one item only needs a rough ID/dating and not the complete factory history and such.

Many people ask what to do if they do not know the region of Germany or the exact town where a certain manufacturer was located. Next to actually having to navigate via region and town you can also use either the PM&M Site Search or could try using the Factory Index - both can be found under the 'RESOURCES' header in the menu on the left.

Of course there is quite a number of manufacturers not included on this site yet; either I did not have time to include them yet or there simply was not enough information for an own page. However I have the info sorted in different directories for future release and you can have a look at the resulting [directory list] if you want to get a rough idea on how many factories and companies I am talking about - and of course you can send me an eMail if you need any info regarding one of the manufacturers mentioned there ;)
