Items bearing this mark are constantly claimed to be of French origin, but in fact they are reproductions made in China. The usual health warnings regarding extremely high lead and mercury levels in the colours and glazes apply.
Some items even feature fake French country-of-origin claims. An example of this can be seen with the mark M180101 or M251102.
