Although I did a lot of work and significantly improved the offline archive structure and content, I was unable to do much online work in 2025 due to having very little free time. From 2026-01-01 onward, I adapted the generic use of "UK English" in all site-related texts, meaning that I fixed the odd mix of US and UK spelling peppered with German punctuation. I also implemented the site-wide use of the international ISO-8601 ("YYYY-MM-DD") date format, replacing the previous UK/US/DE muddle. Then I replaced the old image reference codes in both GERMANY and RELATED sections. Next big step was the addition of 400x400px images (keeping 160x160px thumbnails) in the RELATED section entries.
My To-Do list now includes replacing the images in the GERMANY section, as well as adapting "UK English" in both the GERMANY and RELATED sections. Well, I actually finished the Brandenburg, Hesse, Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saxony-Anhalt regions but got sidetracked as I started to test a new menu system which improves both handling and view/readability on mobile devices. Additionally, I also started to look at the possibility of finally bringing back the often missed "unidentified/repro marks" sections. Both of these actions are promising and were a welcome distraction.
The "Credits/Identification" section was improved: reference numbers shortened to new format; set image clickthrough to 400x400px images.
