The terms Sohn (singular) and Söhne (plural) are the German equivalents of the additions "Son" and "Sons". Both terms are usually used in conjunction with a company name, either with an ampersand ("&") or the conjunction word und ("and"). However, some examples are slightly different, e.g. Ernst Bohne Söhne stands for "Sons of Ernst Bohne".
