Mark View M070912

These marks are commonly found on framed picture plaques or tiles, often with extensive backstories about famous producers. However, it should be noted that most of these plaques/tiles were actually sold as undecorated blanks. This means that attributions based on the original producer of the plaque/tile are often nonsense, as the item itself was not decorated at that factory. Which also explains possible differences in regard of decoration quality. The shown mark example is often incorrectly claimed to have been used by KPM Berlin, Porzellanfabrik Königszelt or any other eagle-mark user. In reality, plaques and tiles bearing shown marks were made at the Reichensteiner Porzellanmanufaktur in Reichenstein (Silesia) under the successors of J. Hasak.
