This was found on a "Limited Edition" plate. Not adding the pool number and the corresponding item number (e.g. "732/2000" or "732 of 2000") when suggesting a limited edition was actually pretty common back in those days. This enabled producers to manipulate the numbers and sell far more than was advertised. This diluted the artificial rarity of a given item and reduced its perceived collector value for the buyer.
