Evidently, Carstens-Uffrecht in Haldensleben produced the "Inge" kitchen container set and marked it with their distinctive markings. However, some versions showed the specific mark shown here. The same mark, albeit stating "C.A.H.", can also be found on various unidentified kitchen canister sets. One theory I have heard is that "C.A.H." stood for Carstens, Abteilung Haldensleben, whereas "C.A.W." stood for Carstens, Abteilung Wallhausen. What confuses me however is that the factory in Wallhausen is often said to only have produced sanitary ceramics.
