Mark View M090617

Four mark families used the text "FINE BOHEMIAN CHINA". One of them, M090619 (shield), clearly covers an original manufacturer mark. The other three marks in question are M110405 (plain text), M090618 (Castle-in-Doughnut), and M090617 which is covered here.

Belfor is not a manufacturer, but a retail brand from the 1970s and 1980s. Proof of this can be found in the form of plain pattern name matching or by looking for Belfor stickers on manufacturer-marked porcelain items or other products, e.g. glassware. At least one type of "made for" marking exists; shown here is a "BELFOR" mark next to a "BIRKS EXCLUSIVE" addition. Series/pattern names found on the Belfor marked items include: Blue Bell, Elegante, Laura, Meadow, Melody, Minuet, Pastel Geranium, Romance, Sabina, Sonata, Spring Bouquet, and finally Tony, a series of coffee/cocoa mugs.
