Some of these triangular marks cover the original producer marks of TK Thun from Klösterle and a few people claim that these marks are actually Thun sub-brands. While I will not comment on that, I should point out that the Thun factory, which had its first successful firing in 1793 and was officially registered in 1794, was the oldest porcelain factory in Bohemia. This, of course, raises the question of why these marks state "since 1790", especially since the Thun factory used the year 1794 as its official founding date for decades. If these marks were indeed sub-brands of Thun, why would such a renowned company lie to its customers? This is especially surprising given that their status as the oldest porcelain factory in Bohemia was not in question, and damaging their own reputation was not a minor mistake.
Anyway, these cover-up marks comes in three versions: Royal Bohemian Fine China, Royal Karlsbad Society China, and finally Royal Heiden Society China, which leads us to two other unidentified mark families. First, let me point out some noteworthy connections here:
It should also be noted that the term "HEIDEN" makes no sense; it is a fictional name and would therefore be unique, or at least difficult to find. As previously mentioned, this leads us to two other unidentified German mark families: M090629 (Royal Heiden) and M090632 (Crown Heiden).
