Mark View M190822

An unidentified mark was found on a cup and saucer, as well as on an ashtray. The poor quality overall, and the implication of "Dresden art" (normally represented by hand painted florals) whilst merely using cheap transfer-applied gilt, are one matter. Another is the use of "FR. ST.", of which we can assume that it stands for the term "Freistaat". However, no Bavarian would use it in this way. A true German/Bavarian origin is therefore questionable.
