These marks are trying unsuccessfully to resemble Johann Seltmann (Vohenstrauss) marks. However, neither "Follin" nor "Salvream" make sense, and the mark actually reads "Pavaria" instead of "Bavaria". Goods bearing these marks are said to have been sold primarily in Italy, Portugal and Spain. Many sets are decorated with Italian motifs (e.g. San Marino), while others feature the traditional "courting couple" motifs (e.g. by Fragonard).
One image submitter said that a certain set with a boxer dog motif was a "limited edition"; it was supposedly only available to people deployed on the Landing Ship Tank (LST) HMS Boxer (F121), which took part in the Allied invasion of Italy. However, this appears to have been nothing more than owner/collector lore, based on the fact that there are no such editions for her sister ships, HMS Bruiser (F119) and HMS Thruster (F131). Also, commemorative editions normally carry remembrance info, like the date(s), area of operation and operation name.
