Mark View M131001

The marks shown here are not those of a producer, but of an exporter, retailer, or decoration studio that has not yet been identified. These marks are commonly found on items created by Heinrich & Co. or Lorenz Hutschenreuther, to name but two. Some of these marks include pattern names, such as "Black Beauty" or "Love Story". As some examples state "Western Germany" (rather than "West Germany" or "W. Germany"), we can infer that they were used between around 1950 and 1956. We can also assume that the business closed before 1958, as companies had usually adopted the shorter versions by then.
