This mark was sometimes claimed to be by Kämpfe & List, which is incorrect, as some of the marks state "BAVARIA", while Kämpfe & List was located in Neuhaus am Rennweg (Thuringia). A key indication that "K&L" is actually a US importer/distributor is that their mark can be found on unaltered items bearing an original Heinrich & Co. mark from around 1925.
