This page is the gateway to hundreds of marks, whether they are unidentified, misclaimed or known reproduction marks used on Asian imports. Where appropriate, this section also provides background information on certain repro marks and their connections, e.g. the "Director's Cut" of what became known as the Wong Lee story (I am the person who coined that term, after all). A searchable database would be much better for this job. However, real-life issues and time constraints have thwarted my efforts in that direction on more than one occasion. So, rather than holding back these pages any longer, I decided to include them in their current form.
I tried to keep it simple; people only have to check the mark on their item. Using the shown country of origin claim (understanding "Bavarian" as "Bavaria", etc.), select the corresponding "Mark Class" page with marks (more or less) grouped via appearance/content. Click on the little "[INFO]" link underneath each of those images to open the "Mark View" information of the corresponding mark.
