Fake & Repro Marks:

[1] : Wales China

Japanese(?) manufacturer that made lots of relatively cheap items either under the main brand 'WALES CHINA' or their subsidiary 'THAMES'. Partially produced tableware but also lots of children's items like miniature tea sets, etc. Main focus was on the china lace figurines which of course often show the 'Bone China Lace' mark and normally have one of the 'WALES CHINA' stickers - however, those stickers are often removed by sellers.

Marks

Just the normal crossed swords used by 'Wales China'. This item only carried the swords, no other marks.

This is the normal constallation, the swords are mainly accompanied by an additional 'BONE CHINA LACE' mark.

Another version used on a smaller base, the swords and 'BONE CHINA LACE' addition are wide apart.

Just the 'BONE CHINA LACE' mark on a piece that had a gold (version 2) 'WALES CHINA' sticker.
